1992 Suzuki Jimny Additional Info:
This 1992 Suzuki Jimny was imported by the previous owner from Japan and is powered by a turbocharged 657cc triple paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It cruises comfortably at highway speeds and is extremely capable off road. Chassis number: JA11167368.
The previous owner replaced the front fenders, repainted it in metallic charcoal, added a 2" lift over new all-terrain tires, and installed an aftermarket steering wheel and driver's seat. The truck recently got a new timing belt, spark plugs, fluids and filters. The weathered tail lights and front turn signals were replaced with aftermarket assemblies. Offered with a clean DC title.
The suspension was modified with a 2″ lift over Samurai wheels refinished in white and wearing General Grabber A/T tires all around. A mismatched spare wheel is mounted in the rear, and the truck comes with the other three original tires. The aftermarket front bumper is finished in Chrysler black and equipped with refinished PIAA fog lamps.
The turbocharged 657cc F6A triple is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, a 2-speed 4WD transfer case, and manually locking front hubs. A sticker in the engine bay reportedly shows that the timing belt was replaced at 87,700 kilometers. Spark plugs, ignition wires, engine oil, air filter, differential fluid, and transmission fluid were all changed within the past 2,000 kilometers. The inner fenders in the engine bay are painted Chrysler black.
Suspension consists of solid axles on leaf springs at both ends, a setup used on the Jimny through present day.
The interior features fabric-covered passenger and rear bench seats with some minor tears, while the driver’s seat and steering wheel are aftermarket items. Factory instrumentation includes a 5-digit odometer that shows 7,230 kilometers (~6,600 miles) and has rolled over.
The truck is equipped with a factory radio and air conditioning system, the latter of which does not blow cold. An altimeter and tilt gauge are mounted in the center stack, with the latter inoperative due to a cracked lens and missing fluid. An aftermarket horn is equipped.
