1988 Suzuki Samurai Additional Info:

1988 ½ Suzuki Samurai. This is one of the few unmolested Samurai’s left in this condition. The suspension or body were never lifted or modified. This Samurai was used as a tow-behind most of its life and mainly in FL. I left the tow brackets on the bumper and the towing arms/hardware will come with the vehicle. The undercarriage and floorboards were solid when I purchased the vehicle. It even had (and still does) the original carpets! However I did invest a lot of $ to get this Samurai where it is today. Frame on restoration, I fixed and updated what was necessary to get it in excellent running condition, but at the same time kept it as original as possible. The original motor is in strong running excellent condition. I did replace the original carb with a weber and it runs much better now than it did when I bought it. I also rebuilt the front wheel hubs and replaced the steering rods with new heavy duty ones and added a new steering stabilizer. This Samurai can cruise smoothly at 70 mph on the highway. New high end paint job in factory correct color. Paint is perfect with not even a scratch anywhere. The only exterior flaw is there is a slight bend in the front bumper (see pics) Here is what was done Mechanically: 1 Transmission was rebuilt. 2 New Flywheel 3 New Clutch kit and cable 4 Original Carb was replaced with Weber carb 5 New distributor cap and rotor 6 New transmission and motor mounts 7 New Coil 8 New Spark plugs 9 New fuel filter 10 New fuel line 11 Engine and gear oil changed 12 New Heavy Duty steering rods 13 New steering stabilizer 14 Front wheel hubs rebuilt15 New Throttle cable Exterior: 1) New $3900 paint job in the factory correct gray 2) New Headlights 3) New emblems and rear Suzuki sticker 4) New top
