1993 Suzuki Cappuccino Additional Info:
Up for sale is a 1993 Suzuki Cappuccino.
I want to start by saying the Suzuki Cappuccino is one of most fun cars I have ever driven, it feels like being in a street legal go-kart. They put a smile on your face each time you get into it and you will enjoy every minute driving in one. I get stopped everywhere with people asking about what it is, if they can sit in it, where they can get one etc. They always draw a crowd at car shows, cars and coffee and even a gas station. It currently has 125,607 kilometers or 78,048 miles. The engine is a 657cc 3cl turbo paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. Imported legally from Japan under the 25 year rule late last year with all import documents available upon purchase. Clean title in hand. The Japanese VIN is EA11R-115624. The vehicle also can be driven with 4 different configurations such as a full removable hard top, a T-Top, a Targa top, or as a top down roadster which makes this vehicle very unique.
Tasteful modifications include Volk TE37 wheels with sport tires, Suzuki Sport coilovers, HID headlights, Pupa Exhaust system (sounds great), boost gauge with blow off valve, rear trunk spoiler, an upgraded differential (i think an LSD), new stereo speakers and Carbon Fiber door panels (very rare, I have never seen these on any other Cappuccinos)
The exterior is in excellent shape, it had a recent paint job in the what appears to be the factory red color. The roof is a very dark bronze color and goes really well with the gold TE37 wheels which are authentic. I have recently performed a full paint correction including a clay bar, hand polish and a wax sealant on the paint. There are only a few blemishes on the entire car which I have pictured. One is on the lower part of the front bumper and the other at the front driver side corner with a small, light scuff. No rust at all on this car which is tough to find on these older, kei cars.
The interior shows very well as well with the seats in great condition and very little blemishes. There is one 1" tear on the driver seat and a 2-3" tear on the center console which can easily be fixed by any interior or leather shop. All interior panels are present with no missing pieces.
Recent service includes a timing belt about a year ago, both valve cover gaskets, both cam seals, the crank seal and a new water pump. Of course all new fluids such as oil and filter, coolant flush, transmission, differential and topped up the brake fluid. Mechanically it runs and drives great and fires right up every single start. No grinds in the transmission however the 3rd gear to 2nd gear downshift syncros seem to be sticking some which is a very common problem on these Cappuccinos. I can source you the parts if you would like to address this. The reverse appears to have been removed to make room for the dual exit exhaust system, the oem wiring is still present behind the bumper so a new one could be added rather easy.
I would love to keep this but ive got a few other vehicles I want to focus on so this is up for sale. This vehicle is sold as-is and is priced according to its condition. Yes you can find cheaper ones, but those will need lots of parts/service and you risk having a vehicle that is rusted which this is not. This is in overall excellent shape for being a 27 year old car. Vehicle is located in Baltimore, MD and I am willing to ship anywhere in the US at the buyers expense. $1000 deposit required within 48 hours if you want to purchase the vehicle. Please contact for additional info or to schedule a time to view the vehicle. Thank you!
