For sale, a 1972 Suzuki LJ20 with only 5,300 miles. It is also known as a Suzuki Brute or Jimny. This is the precursor to the Suzuki Samurai, but much smaller. This is a standard left hand drive with a full convertible top and exterior mounted spare tire. This truck is street legal and registered in the state of South Carolina.
One of these fully restored just went at Barret Jackson for over $15,000. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1972-SUZUKI-LJ20-MICRO-JEEP-96294
Another sold recently on eBay for $10,900. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Suzuki-Samurai-FREE-SHIPPING-WITH-BUY-IT-NOW-/221740102057
Neither of the above had the convertible top.
More information on these trucks can be found at http://www.lj10.com/
Currently tagged and running. Recently had new OEM brakes installed.
I am the third owner.
Has a two cycle 2-cylinder engine that is oil injected that gets 50+ mpg.
The truck is not perfect, with two rust spots that are shown in the pictures. Both are minor and could be repaired easily, if desired.
The LJ20 can be loaded into the back of a pickup truck, it is how I got my first one home back in 1979. For trail riding, fishing, camping, hunting, riding in the neighborhood or riding at the beach, these trucks are great. I use to cut town, or cruise in mine, for those of you that remember such times, and it always got a lot of attention.
This truck is for sale locally, and the auction may be stopped early if it sales.
No reserve. Happy bidding.
