1987 Suzuki Samurai JX Additional Info:

Everybody meet Sami the lightly tanned Samurai! Sami is 30 years old and single! She loves long strolls down by the lake and through the sandy dezert. Sami is mostly all original with the exception of a few minor make overs. The aftermarket parts that replaced the original are the carpet kit, two front seats, two piece soft tops, custom built front and rear towing hitch, interior door and rear panels, shackles+leaf springs (2" lift), shocks, underside skid plate, shift knob, radio antenna and fog lights. The 1.3 Suzuki motor looks to be all original with no modifications. It starts and runs GREAT, but does blow a little smoke when not driven for a few days. There are no major fluid leaks. No history of any major accidents, structural damage or cracks of any kind. This is an original Arizona vehicle with NO frame or body rust except around the battery box and the exhaust. Shifts through the gears with no problems. Locking hubs, 4 wheel low and high engage also with no issues. She tops out at around 50-53 mph on a flat road, 60 mph going down hill with the wind behind you...maybe. Sami is not very fast, but you get her on the sandy beach or back country trails and thats where the fun begins! She just got her crawling shoes replaced with (5) 235/75/15 Toyo Open Country AT ll. She does come with a fully enclosed two piece soft top, but at the beach and river she loves to run around with just her bikini top. There is NO a/c on this vehicle. The paint on her seems to be original with some scratches, small dings and touch ups but in good condition. There are a few dents with the largest one on the hood and the bumper that can be viewed in the pictures. The body decals also have some scratches and fading. The clock, lights, gages, wipers, hood release, front and rear seat belts are in working condition including the dome light...yes the dome light works! Her horn is temperamental and works when it wants to. No cigarette burns or smoke odors of any kind. There is no stereo, I just carried a blue tooth speaker. The passenger side storage tray is bent and broken but in intact and there are no plastic end caps on the front bumper. The odometer reads 23175, and was told by the second owner that the milage is around 223175 give or take, 80-100k is from being towed behind an RV most of its life. For a 30 year old off road sport utility vehicle she is in good shape and shows that it has no major abuse from its past two owners. I've included pictures of the title and car fax to show the history and that there is no salvage along with a clean Arizona title in my name and ready to go. This vehicle has NOT been rebuilt or restored, it has just been cared for by its past owners as it shows. I have owned Sami for less than a year and have done nothing but new tires, oil change and detail cleaning after long strolls in the dirt and sand! So if you're looking for a street legal, small, nimble, light, gas saver, reliable, simple, grocery getter, trail hunter, sandy beach seeker, mountain skipper, topless around town, throw it in the back of the toy hauler, island cruiser, tiny but mighty classic sport utility vehicle, this might be the what you're looking for! For those of you out there that can appreciate the originality of these vehicles with minor modifications hopefully she can find a new good home with you and not be abused, ripped apart and kept mostly original. This is my third Samurai and it's by far the cleanest one I've ever owned. Really not ready to part with Sami, but I would let this one go from my collection for the right price.
