1987 Suzuki Samurai Additional Info:
Coil spring suspension, soft ride and easy on the back. Scored around 980 -990 (?) on a 30 degree ramp (Photo from 2010 predates winch).
Rear add on cage.
33x12.5 tires
6.1:1 transfer case gears
4.57 Ring and pinions, diff breathers are tubed up to the battery area.
ARB air lockers front and rear. Switch for compressor installed.
Air tank on tail gate with shut off, gauge and quick connect. Pressure regulator and solenoids for air locker under dash passenger side.
Zuks off road (ZOR) transfer case cradle - enclosed urethane mounts and a good frame with bash plate. It's not going anywhere!
1/4" steel diff protection - ZOR Krabs.
Long spline driveshafts with 1/2 ton U-joint (Rocky Road KAD)
1996 1.3 Geo Metro short block with Samurai oil pan and head.
Electric fan. Crank pully is a double ribbed belt type with forward pulley free - add power steering or an engine driven compressor?
Harley Davidson Carb on ZOR Myside kit.
"Unbreakable motor mounts" from Trail-tough - even if the urethane breaks, the full circle mount will hold the engine.

Headers to a 2" exhaust system.
New starter, with "clicky starter fix" relay (Relay operates the starter solenoid instead of the ignition switch directly)
Thumb throttle on gear lever - allows easier hill starts over splitting/twisting your right foot on the brake & accelerator.
CB radio under steering wheel.
Odometer/Tachometer from later model fitted, didn't have tach originally
Air/Fuel meter on dash.
3500 lb winch (New) on 120Amp breaker. When used with a snatch block gives 7000lb pull. Remote connection by passenger side headlight. Winch is mounted in a heavy channel that replaced the front weak tubular cross member - tucks the winch in and doesn't hurt front entry angle.
Not a road vehicle. About 100 feet per minute at idle in low range 1st gear
I have had it registered and driven it on road in its current setup - but it is a white knuckle drive. 5000 rpm @ 55 mph in top gear.
I've had this since Feb 2003. It's been to Badlands (Indiana) and Dirty Turtle Off road (KY) once a year for Zookimelt and the on the odd year for one more trip. Reluctant sale. I don't hit mud bogs - trails and mild rock crawling are my type of gig.
