You are bidding on a 1978 Subaru Brat project (Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter), this is the first year the brat was imported, same year as former President Reagan that was restored by Subaru and returned to his ranch, search for another one on eBay and see how many you see, these are very hard to come by now, known in Australia as the Brumby, and in other places as a Shifter, MV or targa. 1.6L EA-71 4 cylinder Subaru engine, 4wd, manual transmission, comes with everything to put back together and many extra parts, these light duty vehicles are rare and if you know anything about them you know that the parts are very hard to find and expensive, previous owner owned the car since 1993 and was driven frequently up until about 7 years ago, will run with a little TLC such as fuel lines replaced and fuel tank cleaned out and lined, due to so many extra parts I cant list them all but you can email me with questions, does have some rust as do the parts, floor pans have been fiberglassed at some point in it's life, comes with 3 sets of hard to find rear jump seats, very nice set of front seats, 2 sets of door panels, 5 grilles, roughly 5 sets of wheels, 3 windshields, 2 back glasses (1 sliding), 4 headliners, 1 headliner for sunroof and a sunroof, 2 roll bars, front brush bar, 4 tailgates, 2 hoods, 5 fenders, 1 high top camper top, 1 low profile camper top, several bumpers, alot of chrome trim and extra trim, A/C conversion parts, these parts are all decent condition, hard to find and worth more than the asking price alone, clear TN title registered in my name. Just listing it to see if anyone is interested before I start on it because it ended up taking way more floor space in my garage than anticipated.
