A Montana Subaru with practically no rust, and only 171,000 original miles. Original famous 2.2 "boxer" 4 cylinder engine, automatic transmission. This is a gem of a 22 year old car, well preserved and maintained, in Very Good Condition mechanically and Good Condition cosmetically.
The 1993 model First Generation Legacy is famous for it's performance, durability, and long life. With most of the features of the more modern Subaru's, but a simpler car to maintain and operate, and incredible traction, and at a tenth of the price of a new Subaru! Approximately 20 mpg in town, 26 mpg on the highway. These cars rule the road in snowy, icy, hazardous road conditions. I have driven a car just like this one, but with more aggressive snow tires, UPHILL through THREE FEET of powder snow.

This car has been professionally reconditioned. Comes complete with good tread on almost new all season radial snow tires. Also it has the original Subaru tool kit, jack, and spare tire. Freshly recharged air conditioning, and the heater will have you going up the mountain with the windows open! The transmission has been replaced with a lower mileage unit, and the car is completely reconditioned. All electric windows and door locks work well and so do all the dash lights and the entire electrical system. Everything works and runs well. The timing belt and water pump were just changed, so there's another 100,000 miles to go on the current ones.
The seats and carpets are very clean, as is the rest of the car. The only issue with this car is that the clear coat is peeling on the paint in places, and there is some slight damage to the front bumper cover. Mechanically it is all very good.
