I am listing this car for the owner who inherited the car from her father when he passed away several years ago.
1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk:
Serial # 6800125 this is #158 of the 601 cars produced at the Vernon California plant. I saw this car briefly at the SDC International Meet held in Dearborn MI in 1995 when then owner Eugene was still alive. It was not in the show, but parked among the other cars. I only got a brief look at it, but it looked decent and obviously a decent driver at that time.
Floor shift manual transmission with power steering, the best of both worlds. The car was originally an automatic. The production order shows the following:
