Auctioning a 1963 Studebaker GT Hawk Grand Turismo that is in good condition with 91110 miles on it. Car has been sitting on jack stands since 2017 in a garage. The gentlman that own it died in 2017 he was in the process of replacing the timing cover gasket because it was leaking oil. He drove this car frequently and would take it to car shows. As you can see has been taken apart to change timing cover gasket which hasn't been changed yet he never got to finish it. Have all the parts with new gasket set to put back together as you can see in one of the photos. We put some fresh gas in tank and a fresh battery put little gas down carburetor and engine fired right up sounded pretty good. Only ran engine about 30 seconds knowing it could not cool it self. There is short video of this engine running. Condition of car is in good condition body looks to have no rust under side looks the same. Engine is what I think is a 289 ci with 4 speed manual transmission. Brakes do not work would have to be checked out. Car could be driven the way it is after few things get fixed or be a total restoration project. Am selling this car for a friend and is located in Limerick Maine. Will answer questions the best I can. Buyer makes arrangements for pick up. Maine dose not require a title for a automobile over fifteen years old but Maine will give a State of Maine sealed letter so can get a title what ever state your in. Is good as a title.
