VINTAGE STUDEBAKER JUNIOR WAGON !!!
The Studebaker Junior farm wagons, according to one source I found on the internet, were small versions of the farm wagons made by Studebaker in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This internet source stated that these little wagons were made from 1929 to 1935. Another source I found said they were made over 100 years ago. I do not know when this one was made, so please ignore the 1932 year in the item specifics, as it was required by ebay that I put something there.
The wagon's dimensions are:Overall height, not including tongue when in upright position is approx. 26 1/4 inchesRear wheels diameter 18 inchesFront wheels diameter 12 inchesOverall width 26 1/2 inchesOverall length, not including extended tongue 42 inchesTongue length approx. 36 inches
I have owned this wagon for approximately 40 years. The previous owner purchased it from a dentist in Boswell, Indiana. I have several pages of hand written correspondence (which will be included with the sale) from the dentist to the next owner, from whom we bought the wagon. The dentist, who purchased the wagon in the early 1960's, had an extensive restoration done on the wagon by an Amish buggy maker in Topeka, Indiana. The buggy maker's tag is still on the back of the wagon.
Since its restoration, the wagon has always been displayed indoors. Its condition is still excellent, as you hopefully can see from the pictures.
Whomever buys the wagon can pick it up at my home just north of Portland, Oregon. An out of town buyer may require the wagon be shipped, and I could crate or box it to the buyer's specifications, but obviously there would be a charge for time and materials.
A $300.00 non refundable down payment will be required within 72 hours of ending of the auction. In addition, if I have to box or crate it, funds to do that will need to be in my hands within 7 days after close of auction. If you plan on picking it up, that must be done within 14 days after auction closes Balance due at that point must be in cash. If you have questions, my name is Larry and you can phone me at 503-351-4634.
