EXTERIOR is ----Wrecked, Salvageable. Can still be restored with a new front end.---
EVERYTHING WORKED BEFORE CRASH, engine was running strong, all lights and electrical in working order.
This was a Harrahs casino car with 44,000 original miles on it. I bought it to restore it and unfortunately the previous owner lied about having totally redone the brakes. They went out on me downhill less than a month after I bought the car and the front end was crushed. The replacement radiator took all the damage. The mechanic who towed it actually tried to put a lien on it when I was in the hospital to keep it because it can still be restored and is worth a lot of money. The front end from a 59 and 60 wagon and sedan are the same. So whoever buys it can either do that or part it out for quite a profit. Studebaker Larks are very rare vehicles and I would love to restore it, but I do not have the time anymore.
THE VEHICLE COMES AS IS, WITH A HARRAHS CERTIFICATE, CLEAN TITLE, AND SOME ADVERTISING MEMORABILIA. The original radiator has a small crack, but was not in the car at the time of the accident, so I will also include that. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TOW/ SHIPPING FROM IDYLLWILD, CA.
