If you are familiar with the Avanti Convertible, you know that the 1989 is the best built and the most desirable. It has the best fit and finish, the stronger frame, and the attractive ground effects bumpers and bodywork. Offered today is my 1989 Avanti Convertible in Crimson. It is in excellent condition. I have owned 8 Avantis and this one is by far the nicest I have ever driven. The 305 V8 engine coupled with its 700R4 4 Speed automatic overdrive transmission is smooth as silk. The leather seats, dash, and door panels are all excellent with no tears. The carpet is very good with only minor wear on the drivers floor mat. The headliner is excellent with no wear or stains. The tires are nearly new with only several hundred miles on them. The wood is in excellent condition with no cracks.
The car is fully equipped with power everything and it all works. The air conditioning is ice cold and even the speed control works.
I added a touchscreen stereo to the car as well as steering wheel remotes to control it. The stereo has Bluetooth phone connectivity, handsfree calling, Apple CarPlay, AndroidAuto, and a backup camera. The screen is really nice and completely visible in bright sun with the top down. I have also upgraded most of the bulbs to LED. The LEDs make the turn and tail lights significantly brighter for added safety.
