1947 Studebaker Pick up, Gentleman's Rat Rod, V8, Great driver! Additional Info:
1947 Studebaker pickup truck, Gentleman's Rat Rod,Chevy V8, all new runs and drives new...
Unique opportunity to buy a very special vintage 1947 Studebaker pickup truck. This truck started life as an oil burner service vehicle. It was later converted to a drag race truck in the 50s... It was put in storage in the 60s and recently unearthed to become the character filled driver you see today. Luckily the truck was never repainted and retains its original oil burner service graphics faded down deep in the beautiful patina. The truck has been completely satin clear-coated and now the patina is locked in time. The frame is perfect and the body has been rat rod restored and secured for running and driving fun. All the brake lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder have all been gone through and made new. All the wiring has been professionally redone on the truck. All the headlights taillights and rear blinkers work. The interior is a plush beautiful patina leather seat with matching door panels and simple rubber matt floor. A 60s chevrolet floor shifter helps you navigate the th350 automatic transmission. A low milage Chevrolet V8 w/ 4 barrel carb has been seamlessly adapted between the frame rails. The motor is quiet and runs perfectly! (see video) The rear is from a 56 Cadillac. A modern electric fan helps keeps this baby cool in the hottest weather. To make her rumble like a hot rod satin black side pipes were installed under the original running boards. Nice 16" white wall tires set off the original patina of the truck. Inside the bed is a furniture grade sheet of plywood that has been stained with mahogany stain and trimmed out with black metal edging. Great for a shop truck or a Gentleman's farm mascot. This is a wonderful gentleman's rat rod for running and enjoyment. Nice enough to bring to show or useful enough to bring to home depot...See the walk around video listed on the last picture or contact me at the # listed for more info.
