For sale in Pensacola,Fl. is a 1978 Avanti II. It has been stored in a garage for the last 9 years and is unrestored and rides and drives great and everything works except the power sunroof. It is dry underneath with no leaks or rust and all original inside and out and all the chrome is in excellent condition with no rust or dings. A great car in every way. After Studebaker ceased production the rights to the Avanti name, tooling, and plant space was purchased by several local Studebaker dealers . They continued to produce the car under the Avanti name plate. The Avanti IIs came with a host of upgraded features including larger displacement GM engines and more luxurious interior amenities. This great blue example of the Avanti II is equipped with a 350CID GM V8 and comes equipped with a host of nifty 70s features.
