1963 Studebaker Champ 8E7 Additional Info:
Gentleman's Studebaker Champ pickup. Complete and running with just under 75,000 miles. Restore it or enjoy it in unrestored condition.
Original 259 cu.in. Studebaker V8 number 3EJ326 - runs strong and cool - does not smoke. Orignal 5 speed overdrive NP540 transmission casting number C-91421U. Dana 44 rear axle. Wheels and hubcaps are original. All original interior components. Original radio delete - never had aftermarket stereo.
Clean California car orignially sold through Hub Studebaker in Riverbank, CA. Cab, bed, fenders and bumpers are in excellent condition. It is rare to find a pickup truck this straight. No dents or prior collision repair. No rust in body. Bedsides, tailgate, frontgate and bed floor are as good as it gets. Car wears a second budget paint-job in similar color to original that was applied years ago (most likely 70's or 80's). Paint is thin on top. Prior owner applied some rattle-can primer on cab roof. The small rust spots visible on the sides of the truck are surface rust only where prior owner sanded paint chips. Floorboards are fatigued from minor rust and cracks. Missing driver door glass (wing glass in-tact). Aftermarket wiring harness.
Older tires hold air but rubber is hard and tread is worn. Steering linkage needs to be rebuilt.
