1966 Studebaker Commander Additional Info:

1966 STUDEBAKER COMMANDER, 4-DOOR

• Original 6 cylinder engine.
• 3 speed trans with overdrive.
• Clutch rod is a two piece unit and has come apart where it pivots, and will need to be repaired or replaced before it can be driven.
• Gas tank needs to be cleaned out. Fuel line is disconnected and run to a gallon jug to start the car.
• Engine Has new plugs, wires, etc.
• New battery.
• Tires about 50% tread.
• Right rear door top hinge is broken, so until fixed door should not be opened.
• Car does have some rust (see pics) as follows: Both rocker panels, as well as a hole in trunk floor that can be easily patched. Some rust in lower fender corners and a small amount in the lower areas of the doors. Floor pans seem solid as well as inner fenders and aprons.
• All trim is in good condition. Bumpers are good shape, as well as all the other trim pieces.
• Glass is good. No cracks etc. Windows roll up and down easily.

Have been as honest as I can about the car's condition, and attempted to provide pics that clearly reflect any deficiencies. Keep in mind, this is a 50 year old vehicle. With very little effort or investment, this will be a reliable and unique antique vehicle that you can have fun with and/or show.
