1959 Studebaker Lark Deluxe Additional Info:
This Lark is in good driver quality condition and engine runs strong. Currently registered with antique plates. Older restoration showing some age with some chips and rust bubbles starting at bottom of doors, but looks nice from 10'. It has just been driven around town in the 3+ years that I have owned it (bought it showing 59,000 miles and believed correct (though listed as exempt due to age). Just had new distributor cap, points and ballast and starts right up. Includes owners manual, Studebaker book and vintage Studebaker ads. Original radio blank-off plate also included along with new in box speaker and antennae (never installed). The radio installed is a used one from a 59 Lark, but never hooked it up to see if it works (car never had radio so would need to be wired). Let me know if you have any questions.
The Lark was a new model in '59 and competed well with the Rambler and VW Bug at the time with its practical, modern design. Studebaker folded only a few years later, making these cars more rare than most of its competition. Parts are still available online, or for typical parts at any auto parts store. Serious only please. Not looking for trades.
