This 1949 Studebaker Model 2R17 is a project truck with a rebuilt Chevrolet 6 Cyl 292 engine, Casting Number: 3921970 which starts and runs strong as of September 19th, 2016. It has a 2 speed rear axle, dual rear wheels, 4 speed manual transmission. The Standard brakes work on three drums and a power brake system is on the truck that could be put back in service. There is a David Bradley lift, system in place that can also be put back in service. I have the signed original California pink. To trailer it away the size is 80" tall x 82" wide x 12'6" front to rear axles and over all front to back 19'6". Truck Serial Number R17 002852.
