1970 Studebaker Avanti II Additional Info:

This 1970 Avanti II has won a First Place Award in the 2008 Studebaker Drivers Club International Meet in Lancaster, A and First Place Awards in the 2014 SDC International Meet and Avanti Owners Association International Meets in Dover, E. It's in outstanding condition with few flaws. Among the features this Avanti has are: GM Performance 350HO 330hp crate engine GM 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission Edelbrock Pro-Flo electronic fuel injection aluminum driveshaft Turner disc brake conversion kit Composite leaf springs Edelbrock IAS shock absorbers Magnum 500 wheels Cooper Cobra redline radial tires from Diamondback Tires PIAA Professional driving lights Third brake light for safety 3-stage paint (base coat, earlescent color coat, lear coat) Custom laser engraved valve covers and air cleaner cover Custom battery cover AutoMeter gauges Grant steering wheel VintageAir air conditioning Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo Boston Acoustic speakers LED tail light boards Cruise control (not working) Electric cooling fan Optima battery Powermaster chromed alternator Recaro leather seats Rear window defogger A great deal of time and expense was spent on this car and the reserve is being set at a very reasonable level. All the chrome is in excellent condition. The Recaro seats are the most comfortable and supportive of any auto seats I've ever sat in. The side interior trim is vinyl. The headlights are halogen units and most of the courtesy lights are LED, hich uses less power and also brighter and a whiter light. The LED's also put out less heat and will make the lenses last much longer without discoloring. The car had 77,000 miles showing on it when I first purchased it. With the new gauges it now shows just under 5000 miles since its rebuild. The only known flaws to me are the cruise control isn't working, bad place in the rear carpeting (covered by the floor mat and the passenger side power window doesn't seal when closed. That window alignment will take someone very familiar with its adjustment procedure as it's beyond my ability.
