1962 Shelby Cobra Additional Info:

In 1962, Carroll Shelby launched one of the most important chapters in American automotive history with the creation of the Cobra. Built around a lightweight roadster chassis and powered by a small-block Ford V8, the original Cobra was raw, fast, and unapologetically American. It quickly gained global attention, earning magazine covers and praise for its performance and simplicity.

The CSX8000 Series carries that lineage forward, faithfully modeled after the earliest small-block Cobras with the same original body lines and suspension design. While remaining true to the spirit of the 1960s cars, the modern CSX cars benefit from carefully integrated updates in materials and engineering to improve safety, reliability, and drivability.

This CSX8503 is a small-block street Cobra in its purest form. Lightweight, powerful, and engaging, it delivers the same visceral driving experience that made the original Cobras legendary, while being built to modern standards expected by today’s collectors.
