GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1966 AC Cobra 427 by Lone Star Classics. Lone Star has been a staple in the Cobra fabrication world for more than 23 years. The engine, drive train, chassis and body was professionally built and assembled by the extremely skilled hands of Jamie Hamm and his expert staff at Bonefied Customs in Grand Rapids, MI. This Cobra roars to life with a 351 Winsor block bored and stroked to 418 CID developing 500hp and 510 foot pounds of Torque. The engine build features an Eagle Forged Crank, Eagle Forged Connecting Rods, Moly Pistons, Dart Aluminum Heads, Competition Roller Cam etc. Power is transferred via a tremec 5 Speed Transmission and delivered by a 9 inch Curry rear end with 3.73 gear ratio. The suspension was designed by Taylor Race Engineering and features coil over adjustable shocks. Other features Wilwood brakes, Goodyear F1 Tires on American Racing 427 Cobra Wheels, outstanding classic LeMans Blue paint with white stripes that shows and a dropped floor pan to accommodate a taller driver. The interior features black leather seats, full VDO instrumentation, and 5 point harnesses. This Cobra was built as a dream car as a self-given retirement present and has been treated as such since new. It driven 4683 miles since completion in 2010, and the Cobra still shows near new. The performance of this car is amazing featuring ground pounding acceleration, and wonderfully balanced handling. What a great opportunity to acquire a professionally built and prepared Cobra replica for nearly half the price of the project. The car is fully documented with all receipts and build specs. Scratch that itch with this 427 Cobra by Lone Star.
