1965 SHELBY COBRA FACTORY FIVE
YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE FINEST SHELBY COBRA BUILD I HAVE EVER SEEN, THIS WAS BUILT BY A RACE SHOP IN CHARLOTTE NC, AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS THE FOCUS ON THIS BUILD! THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PERFORMING AND HANDLING COBRA KIT I HAVE EVER DRIVEN.
EXTERIOR:FEATURING A FACTORY FIVE BODY (CAR IS TITLED AS A 1965 SHELBY FACTORY FIVE) PAINTED IN CORTEZ SILVER WITH CUSTOM INLAYED SNAKE SKIN STRIPES. THE BODY IS FITTED WITH ALL SHELBY COBRA EMBLEMS AND 427 BADGES AS THE ORIGINAL, FITTED WITH DUAL CUSTOM CHROME ROLL BARS, SHELBY WINDSHIELD, DUAL SIDE WIND WINGS, CHROME SIDE & REARVIEW MIRROR, ALUMINUM FRONT & REAR QUICK JACKS, 17" AUTHENTIC STYLE REAL KNOCK WHEELS WRAPPED IN ZR RATED TIRES, AND CERAMIC COATED SIDE EXHAUST. LOW & HIGH BEAM HALOGEN HEADLIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, TAIL & BRAKE LIGHTS. FLAWS ON THE CAR ARE SOME SPIDER CRACKING AROUND THE REAR BUMBERS AND SOME SMALL STONE CHIPS AS THIS IS A DRIVEN CAR. ONE OF THE TRUNK PINS RATTLED OUT..IT IS FINE WHEN SHUT BUT A NEW PIN SHOULD BE PUT IN.. I ALSO RUBBED THE REAR WHEEL WELL FLARE AND COVERED IT WITH THE RUBBER CARBON FIBER LOOK WRAP..I DID BOTH REAR WHEELS WELLS WITH THIS AS I THINK IT GIVES IT A NEAT LOOK. BUT THOUGHT I SHOULD MENTION. THE CAR HAS A FEW FLAWS AS NOTED BUT AGAIN IS DRIVEN AND NOT A TRAILER OR GARAGE QUEEN. I HAVE PICTURED ANYTHING THAT I FELT WASMENTION ABLE

UPFRONT FEATURES A CUSTOM POWER RACK & PINION STEERING SYSTEM WITH POLE POSITION TUBULAR A-ARMS & EIBACH ADJUSTABLE FRONT COIL OVERS. 4 WHEEL POWER DISC BRAKES WITH FRAME MOUNTED DUAL BRAKE BOOSTER. CUSTOM FABRICATED ALUMINUM INNERS TRUCTURE, FIREWALL, TRUNK, FLOORS ETC. THE COMPLETE CHASSIS IS FINISHED WITH POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL BOLTS, STAINLESS BRAIDED FUEL & BRAKE LINES AND IS FINISHED TO THE SHOW QUALITY STANDARDS OF THE REST OF THE CAR.
ENGINE:FEATURING A STROKED FORD RACING 393C.I. 450hp WITH ALUMINUM HEADS & INTAKE. MSD IGNITION SYSTEM, POWER STEERING, WATER PUMP & ALTERNATOR ALL RUN ON SINGLE DRIVE SERPENTINE BELT. UNDER THE HOOD IS FINSIHED OFF JUST AS NEAT & TIDYWITH EXTENSIVE BRAIDED STAINLESS LINES AND ANODIZED FITTINGS, COBRA ALUMINUM VALVE COVERS & AIR CLEANER. ALUMINUM RADIATOR, CERAMIC COATED HEADERS. AND A 5 SPEED TREMEC TRANSMISSION TRANSFERS THE HORSEPOWER TO THE INDEPENDENT REAR END. NEW FUEL PUMP INSTALLED AND FRESHLY REBUILT HOLLY 750 DOUBLE PUMPER CARB..FITTED WITH FULL SET OF GUAGES BY CLASSIC INSTURMENTS, COBRA WOOD STEERING WHEEL, CUSTOM BUCKET SEATS WITH SIMPSON 5 POINT LAP HARNESSES, CUSTOM AC FOOT PEDALS, BILLET SHIFTER, FULL BLACK CARPETING AND CHROME FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
