This 1989 Shelby CSX is the final Shelby-branded Dodge product and is based on the contemporary Dodge Shadow. Equipped with a 2.2 L engine paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. Appears well preserved with original paint, original interior, and the often damaged composite wheels still fitted. This car is equipped with the standard CSX seats upholstered in Shelby-branded cloth. A period-correct aftermarket stereo is fitted. Virtually all of the interior features work, including cold-blowing A/C. Each of the 1989 CSXs received a numbered plaque. This car is number 256 of 500. The glovebox bears Carroll Shelby’s signature. The final model year of Shelby CSX cars saw a number of mechanical upgrades, most notably the Variable Nozzle Turbo, which has been retained in this car. This Shelby was serviced by a Dodge dealership for most of its life. The car starts easily, idle well, with a smooth clutch and strong brakes.
