1965 Shelby AC Cobra Additional Info:

Presented here is a superb example of a scarceAC Cobra MK II 289 FIA replica. This car was built by North American Fiberglass in 1990, which later became part of Superformance, the company that is involvedin manufacturing the current official Shelby continuation cars. The molds were taken from an original 289 FIA car.

The original owner and the second/current owner are close friends and the current owner was involved in every aspect of specifying and ordering the car.

The following options were selected:

Convertible top, Tonneau cover, Front bra

Hood scoop and fender louvers

Sun visors and wind wings

Halogen road lights, detachable

Chrome "quick-jack" pads AND chrome bumpers

351 Windsor (professionally built) 350HP

Aluminum lined engine compartment

427-style Jet-Hot coated side exhaust

High torque starter

Electric fan and two auxiliary pusher fans

Chrome front sway bar

Curry 9" rear end with 4.11 gears

The current owner bought the car from his friend in 2004 with 1364 miles on it. This car is one of themost well-cared forautomobiles you will ever find!!! Every piece of paperwork has been collected since day one and since 2004 a complete and impeccable service and maintenance history/receipts is included. As you can see in the photos, this car is immaculate and needs nothing! Just over the last month, the owner spent $1000 in a new hi torque starter, battery and had all cables soldered for superb connections.The exhaust (mufflers) were redone in 2012, Tires were replaced in 2010 at 4256 miles.

The paint is original and has fantastic luster, withonly a few random chips, as expected on a vehicle that is 26 years old.

The car comes with the chrome plated quick-jack pads, headlights screens, tonneau cover, soft top, and front end bra, as originally ordered. The radio head-unitwas removed, is however included. The amp and speakers are still in their original location.
