Up for auction, is a 1966 Saab, model 96.
With 41,000 original miles. it runs and drives great
Comes with a clear and clean title, with no accidents.
The car has been garage kept and not seen rain or snow, since I've been the owner. I have owned this car for over two decades. I am only the second owner.
The car, is a California car, that was shipped to Florida in 1994. It was then driven to Illinois, and was garage kept until I purchased it 1997.
The car also comes with, around $3,000 worth of extra parts, including, a spare engine and transmission “Gear Box’
The car has been meticulously taken care of, and all maintenance, and servicing done.
Now don't get me wrong, this is not a museum piece, it has flaws, and Imperfections, but this is an original piece of History, and actually would be a perfect car, for a museum restoration, and would push the value up into the 20 - $30,000 range.
The power plant is a V-4 engine. This was the first year Saab offered the option of the V-4, or the two stroke motor.
It is a 4-speed manual transmission that shifts on the steering column. Commonly known as, 4 on the tree.
There are no worries of any maintenance.
New brakes, new tire, Shocks and suspension.
Engine tune up. Clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder. Brake cylinder. Brake lines. Fuel pump. All hoses, and fuel lines. There are so many other maintenance procedures, that have been performed, on the car over the years, just too many to list.
Be confident in your purchase that you're getting a solid reliable car. I have Professionally taken care of this car.
The only reason I'm selling the car, is I have moved out of state, and do not have room for it. If I did, it would be coming with me.
If you have any additional questions, or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me.
