1991 Saab 900 S Additional Info:
Hi Your looking @ our 1991 Saab 900 S 3 Door 5 speed. Exterior color is Citrin Beig, interior color is gray leather & are in very good order for its age( see photos), car is original. The bad news 1st, Bought a bigger car, and I could not find the later version of thee Saab camper that fits in the cargo area after you remove the hatchback door. ( " if somebody has a perfect one e.g. camper let me know and we'll keep the Saab our Tesla can just stay outside ( :" ) Will need new tires soon mainly from sitting as we only drive the Saab in the spring and summertime. Has some paint blemishes on just the trunk lid and two small spots where clear coat is checking on hood from parking outside at airport parking lot for 2 months my guess from using wrong car cover? Both are hard to see have to look really close and you still might not see it. also a small srcatch above rt. rear wheel well ( see photo) if you enlarge photo you can see them still hard to see. Has 2 small dings one in trunk and one on rt. side by door handle both are hard to see in person, more-so in photos..and a wear area on the drivers carpet and wear on driver seat back ( see photo), A few small cracks in dash ( See photos) I might have a line on a close to perfect dashboard if I acquire it I'll include it. Mileage is under 170 k runs great & shifts smooth. Ac blows cold everything works but the heated seats (element has break in it) I had the cruise control disconnected. I don't like cruise control. The good news ; The Saab 900 is the best car in the world it's a swiss knife on wheels! So thoughtfully engineered & the build quallity is superlative the body and interior are very nice, somebody always has a compliment about how nice the Saab looks, when we take it out! Lives in a heated garage, absolutely no mechanical issues e.g. engine knockin, smoking, overheating, transmission issues etc, absolutely no rust, maintaned very well using oem saab parts, fluids e.g. Pentosin, Mann oil filter, Castrol oil etc. A non turbo 16V motor is much easier on the motor & car life generally in my humble opinion better for long life all together. We wanted good fuel economy and reliability that said we had our eye on this Saab for a while and were fortunate to aquire the Saab when the last owner gave us the green light to buy it. The Saab has been a splendid automobile if we had an extra heated garage space this would not be for sale as indoor heated garage space is quite expensive in Seattle our condo only has space for 1 vehicle also as stated above couldn't find the Saab camper we liked, we wanted the later one that they mad, oh well anyway's. We just had a new Sachs clutch system including the recommend Delphi clutch master cyl.installed 10 miles ago, Runs like butter ! Comes with some spare stuff that I was told as a must have for a road trip, included are these items; ignition ignitor, distributor, nice blue heavy fabric soft car cover (see in photo with dashboard pic.) & whatever else I come across Ill throw in. It's an awesome automobile hate to see it go! A very safe well built sophisticated automobile.
And a great collector vehicle you can enjoy for that comfortable and safe road trip. This is a reluctant sale and it's most important that our car to go to a good home!
Good luck and thanks for looking!
(Floor mats covers hole)
( Has small crack in lens hard to see )
