The Silver Shadow LWB up for auction is a non-running, non-driving example. It has not beenrun in some time and will need to be towed from the Rolls-Royce Foundation’s facility. No warranty or guarantee is either expressed or implied. Thiscar is either suitable for parts or a very expensive, time-consuming restorationproject. This car cannot be made functional without considerable work.
The interior of the car is in very poor condition and odorous due to water and insect damage, and very little -if any- of the upholstery components can be considered salvageable. The body, while exhibiting no apparentsigns of rust-through (apart from the roof), seems to be in good conditionfor parts. The roof panel’s Everflex roof covering is gone, exposing rust-through of the roof panel itself. The engine compartment seems to be complete, but the actual condition of the engine/transmission/drivetrain is unknown. Likewise, the condition of the braking and suspension systems is unknownand should be considered inoperable. The car does roll to be loaded ontoa trailer or other means of transportation.
Chassis LRE26615 was originally sold by the Newport Beach, California dealer Roy Carver, Inc. List price when new was $44,225.00!
