1978 Rolls-Royce Corniche Additional Info:

Here we go for the third time....
Please don’t bid unless you’re a serious buyer.
The first winner was supposed to come see the car and close the deal. He actually never came to see the car. The second winning bidder at $37,200 at least came and saw the car, but "it wasn't what he expected". I immediately cancelled his bid, no other questions asked.
Obviously I'd like this sale to go through. The car is 45 years old and has been maintained, not restored. It is not mint. It is not a show car in its present condition, but it runs great. It has cold a/c. The convertible top works fine. We have a great time when we take it out to dinner. It turns heads, then when people find out it was Clarence's car, some of them pose with it for pictures.
It has not even been detailed recently. I want the potential buyer to see the exact condition of the car. There were no body repairs and I believe this is the original paint, which is still really good, but not perfect. It is not my intention to have anyone be surprised when they see the car.
Despite the previous failed auctions, I still have no problem canceling the deal if you inspect the car and change your mind. This is a solid car with nothing to hide.
Please call if you are a serious bidder. I will answer all questions and make the car available for inspection.
If you are ready to make an offer of $35,000, we can speak, and I will consider accepting the bid depending on our conversation. I still will cancel the deal if you see the car and are not satisfied.

Rollsalita, the 1978 Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible previously owned by The Big Man, Clarence Clemons from Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. The car is not mint, but is in good condition, runs fine, has cold A/C and has been carefully maintained and garaged. I am (not was, just can't think of it that way....) a friend of his and his personal physician. I was given the opportunity to buy the car by his family after he made his move to join Danny at the great gig in the sky.
The car has not been restored. It was maintained and stored in a warehouse with his other vehicles when Clarence owned it. Since I've had it, it was moved into a private garage. Rollsalita is only taken out on special occasions and the Jungleland solo is always played when she's out on the road. There is no rust, no body repairs, and runs fine.
Clarence loved the car. He had a photoshoot of him and the car done by Jo Lopez, a photographer that eventually travelled with the E Street Band. Jo has a few Rolling Stone Magazine covers on his resume. There is a watermarked picture of Clarence with the car in this ad. The car will come with a non-watermarked photo. I purchased the photo from Jo. The full photoshoot is available from Jo, but not included in this purchase.
Clarence can be seen driving the car in his biopic Who Do I Think I Am which has been streaming on Netflix.
We have a copy of the previous title in Clarence's name. The vehicle can be seen in Boynton Beach, Florida. The price is for local pick up, but if you arrange shipping, we will accommodate. Payment must clear before the vehicle is released.
Yes, he was as cool as you can imagine. Even more so. The purchase will come with as many stories as you want to hear.
More photos are available on request.
