1978 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow long wheelbase Additional Info:
For sale is a very unique offering. The rolls Royce silver wraith I I offered here for sale was heavily customized to the specifics of the original owner, the Kuwait Royal Family. The Silver Wraith II was the more luxurious sister to the standard wheelbase Silver Shadow II and this particular model is even more luxurious yet. This car was ordered with a vast array of special features including rear seat Picnic trays, built-in cocktail cabinets, special hidden compartments and even a fire extinguisher. I have included a copy of the special request that will accompany the 50-plus page build sheet for the vehicle that spells out every change and progress that was made in building this car. It remains in original condition with the exception of one repaint from the original color of honey gold. It was repainted in a Rolls-Royce color, however the color is not original to this particular vehicle. Additionally, the Blaupunkt radio was replaced with a 1980s era Yamaha cassette deck which is in itself now quite collectible. The car is currently not in running condition and is on non-op status with the California DMV. It's sat for over 20 years in a garage and many of its engine component parts are original. It will need a complete overhaul to the cooling system as both the radiator and the water pump Have failed. Will also need attention to the engine compartment because while the car will run with the cooling system having been repaired, it does appear to burn oil so that situation needs to be inspected and addressed. Beyond that, this is a significant opportunity to acquire a very unique silver wraith II that is worthy of the restoration effort that is needed on this Rising in appreciation classic. The car is located in the San Francisco Bay area and may be inspected at my home by prospective buyers. I reserve the right to end this auction early for any reason and the car is described to the best of my ability. Buyer is responsible for the shipping and all associated cost. Serious bidders are encouraged to ask questions about any issues related to this car that they are most concerned about. Thank you and happy bidding!
