This CMC 57 Speedster Replica was acquired from an estate. The previous owner took great care of his Speedster. This 57 CMC Speedster is built on a 75 VW Chassis, is equipped with a Scat Dual Port, Street Engine for great performance, and is mated to a Manual Gearbox equipped with a B&M Shifter. The car is as tight as a drum, with no rattles or squeeks. It handles like it' on a rail, with excellent turn in and tight, predictable steering. The ride is decent for a performance car, making long trips an easy task. The doors close with a solid thump, that shows the cars build integrity. Showing only 8,117 Kilometers, or 5049 original miles.
This is a car to be enjoyed on nice days, on winding roads. It features the original interior, gauges, seats that came with the car. The paint is also believed to be original and as you can see, looks great. The undercarriage is clean and solid as well. The VW flat four cylinder starts quickly and runs strong, with Scat performance modifications. The car features it's original canvas top, and a nice set of side curtains.
