FFR Cobra Kit MRK 3.1 - 2008
This car includes everything you need to make this car your dream Cobra except the engine and transmission. This is the third FFR Cobra I have built personally. The car is completely assembled, all major body work has been done. All you have to do to finish the exterior is block, sand and apply your favorite color of finish coat and install the carpet and interior trim. This car has power steering and power brakes driven by Mustang Hydro Boost system (stops on a dime). I had this car together with a stoked 351 Windsor (410 HP) and TKO 500 tranny and drove it for about 1,000 miles. Took engine and tranny out and using it in another car. You can choose your own power train but I have all the supporting power steering, alternator, starter, and custom 4 into 4 headers for a small block Windsor engine. The car features: (All these features add up to big money if you look on the FFR site.) The car rivals any complete kit from Factory five by has IRS rear and complete rear end assembly. FFR complete kit like this would cost well over $23,000. This can be yours for a steal.
Car has been titled and registered as 1965 cobra.
Powder Coated Chassis – from FFR $400 option.
Front Suspension – FFR lower tubular control arms, KONI shock upgrade ($450 option).
Rear Suspension – FFR independent rear suspension ($2,500 option).
Rear Drive Train – Differential and CV axles from a 2002 Mustang Cobra with 3.73 gear ratio. This is an aluminum case with bolt on brace (like this https://www.americanmuscle.com/cobra-diff-coverbrace.html . This system features a 31 spline differential so it can take a lot of power. Completely rebuilt. Includes a drive shaft. (This is a $1,400 option from FFR).
Brakes – Hydro Boost Power brake system. Front brakes are Mustang Cobra brakes with cross drilled rotors, rear brakes are Mustang GT brakes. ($600 Option).
Power steering – Hydra boost powered power steering rack, I have the PS pump. ($500 option from FFR).
Tires and Wheels – Vredestein tires Front 255/40/17 Rear 315/35/17. Staggered wheels 8’ wide front 10’ wide rear.
Exhaust – Set of FFR 4 into 4 headers for 351 Windsor (9.5 Deck Height) ($850 Option) or a set of plasma coated shorty headers and FFR downpipes for 302 small block.
Radiator – FFR AFCO aluminum radiator.
Gauges – Cyberdyne electric gauge set. Red digital LED lights. Tach, Speedo, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and Coolant temp.
Wiring harness: Kwik Wire wiring harness.
Other features include: FFR floor mats, hood hinges, wiper kit ($500 Option), and wind wings ($99 option).
