This is a 1960's Sears Rascal Dune Buggy Project. This was built in the late sixties using a VW pan, back half is Corvair. Originally this had a Turbocharged Corvair engine with an automatic powerglide transaxle. Engine was blownup and remove, powerglide is still in place. Comes with a Corvair core engine for rebuild. The body is really nice, no damage and still has the blue metalflake gel coat finish. Seats are nice, carpet set has been removed. VW pan is pretty good, someone undercoated it.Buggy has vintage Cragar SS rims and are not very good. Original workmanship was not to bad. We do not have title . In Indiana it is very easy to get a builders title on vintage vehicles on home built vehicles., not sure on other states.
We thought we had this sold and buyer never paid, so its back up for sale.
This is a project buggy. Located in southeastern Indiana.
