I own a recently converted & restored 1974 - 914 into a 2.4 Liter 147 hp six cylinder, I bought this 1974 in 1995 from its original owner with only 32,000 miles and RUST FREE body and I then completely restored this near perfect 914 body & using all my previous wrecked 1972 914-6 Body & kept the unhurt running gear so I rebuilt the running gear, suspension with all new bushings & bearings & 914-6 brakes & new pads & five lug 914-6 hubs & I had my 1972 2.4 liter European Mtr rebuilt by a certified Porsche mechanic using new parts includg flywheel & clutch & racing headers & new muffler & New set of 7" x 15" Fuchs & had all my 72 gauges refurbished by V.D.O Now I am ready to sell this "Tribute to My Wrecked 1972 914-6 car." which has 32,500 original miles and all original Porsche parts, A Real Piece of Porsche History. The parts & labor alone would cost you $40,000. I will sell for $50,000. It runs like a new car should, on a Calif.
