1970 Porsche 911 Additional Info:
Porsche 911 T for sale. This car is an original matching numbers (including Porsche Certificate of Authenticity) car from California and has no rust. It was originally a metallic green color (code 8383- please see photo of a completed car with this paint code) and it has an original interior in presentable and driving condition. The original dash has two minor cracks. The car has its original California blue plate and matching pink slip (from prior owner). The engine will need work as two venturis melted, I believe when we recently attempted to start the car with quick start (see photo). I have been informed that at the very least a top end rebuild will be required to be re-commissioned as the car has been dormant since 1985. That may or may not be the case, but would plan for it. That being said, a carb rebuild and test would be in order first as the prior owner stated the car's motor was rebuilt 30k miles ago and was running well with no leaks. The engine is not leaving any oil on the ground now, which is a good sign. The car's exterior is currently plasti-dip green, with a coat of red paint underneath. The original metallic green paint is still on the decklid. It also has wider wheel wells (they were cut to allow for wider flares to be installed, but never completed). The car will come with original Porsche rear fender flares. The front fenders will need repair or replacement to get back to original. The gaps are off on the driver side indicating a prior accident. The front trunk (see pictures) also shows signs of this incident. All VIN tags are original and intact, including the door sticker (see photo). This car could be up and running/driving with some minor carb and engine work and with the interior being in decent shape it, could be driven and enjoyed, or it is a candidate for full restoration. The car comes with the Porsche certificate of authenticity verifying all above details, including the rare metallic green color. The car does not come, however, with wheels in the photos but instead the original 14x5.5" wheels indicated in the COA and the original style headlamps and chrome trim rings. The current wheels and headlamps will be removed prior to delivery. Not sure how many California blue plate cars in this color exist, so restored this would be a valuable Porsche 911 for the future.
