1982 Porsche 911 Targa Additional Info:
I am selling my 1982 Porsche 911sc targa. It is by far the best driving car I have ever had the privilege to enjoy. I am selling as it sits more than it gets driven - I have a young daughter that doesn't ride in it so opportunities to drive this car are less frequent than I would want. This car is absolutely reliable and has been proven for years.
I have records from the past two owners - the car was daily driven in California from 2003 until it came to Texas in 2012. The car was used as a street car, autocross toy and a track day car yet it was always driven to events. Many great parts, modifications and updates make this 911 stand out.

The car does drop oil when parked between uses - 4-5 drops which is typical for these air -cooled flat sixes. Oil has been changed with Brad Penn oil. Shifts amazing, stops and steers straight as an arrow. Body feels tight, suspension is tight and no squeaks.
Paint appears original - not show car quality but has great patina. Looks great - has a small dent on rear fender (pictured) and front bumper has scuffs in paint and one crack on bottom center from road scrape. Seats are fixed and extremely comfortable. Comes with G-force 5 point harnesses (not installed). The car did have a bolt-in cage when I bought it - I removed it and put bolts in holes on floorboard. Pan is straight, underbody is straight and there is no rust to speak of on this car.
I have driven it on highway as did previous owners and trust it implicitly. It is an amazingly fun to drive car and soattention getting - really does it all - shows, daily, track.
One photo shows BBS wheels but they do not come with the car - only the Fuchs.
As with most older 911s, AC has been removed. No heat. No radio so you can hear the sweet sounds of the exhaust as you row through the gears. I really will miss this car and with prices on 911s rising the way they are, this is a great opportunity to get into one with no needs and enjoy driving.
I've bought many cars out of state and sight unseen. If more pictures are needed, please let me know. I am happy to help in any way I can with shipping and to answer any questions to make this as easy as a face to face deal. Thank you for looking.
