1960 Porsche 356 B Roadster T-5 finished in Red over Black interior. Cats Exotics is excited to offer this all-time classic Porsche! Arriving at our showroom featuring the NUMBERS MATCHING engine AND transmission, with both serial numbers verified via the accompanied Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The rarity of this car is evident, with ONLY 528 total produced! It was the recipient of a restoration and shows beautifully inside and out. Having been owned by the same owner since 2003. Odometer currently reads 8,968 miles. Also featuring; black soft top convertible, matching black soft top cover, matching black tonneau cover, rear luggage rack, black seats, floor mats, Nardi woodgrain steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, padded upper dash, passenger grab bar, chrome wheels, SecretAudio radio, spare tire, and Drauz tags on the driver side door jamb and right front quarter panel.
In 2012 showing 8,893 miles, the matching numbers motor was rebuilt and received a new cam, upgraded lifters, rods, new cylinders, pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, push rod tubes, oil pump, and a balanced crank. It also received an oil cooler, new spark plugs, new engine oil/filter, new fuel filter, and a new distributor cap, new valve cover gaskets, valve adjustment, brake adjustment, and a steering box adjustment. A new clutch/pressure plate/clutch release bearing and a resurfaced flywheel was installed in 2003. We have receipts dating back to 1992 and totaling over $25,000! Included with the car is its driver's manual. This is a fantastic example of one of the most sought after vehicles in the world, waiting for its next owner!
