1982 Porsche 911 Additional Info:

Selling my very nice 1982 Guards Red Porsche 911 SC Targa. I've invested more than 50K in restoring and refurbishing it over the past 3.5 years with most all of the work completed by Porsche of Minneapolis Classic. Documented work includes full engine rebuild with all new supplemental parts, new rear brakes, new alternator mounting housing, oil level sender, battery, fuel pump, new fuel injectors, oil cooler line, fuel distributor control rebuilt, new seat belts, new drivers side power window motor, new black dashboard, refurbished leather steering wheel, A/C repair/recharge, new weather strip seals throughout, new rear taillights, new Porsche center reflector, new Porsche classic stereo with Nav, satellite radio, with blue tooth, and many more items which I've documented. The odometer reading is not accurate. A previous owner replaced it at some point however the engine and most of the mechanics are now new/rebuilt. The car has no rust and has been stored in my heated garage in a car capsule. Prior to my ownership, the car was repainted in its original guards red color and has some fade in spots due to age. The paint shows well however the right rear fender has clear coat issues that are visible upon close inspection. There are two dimples in the front cowl due to a previous owner dropping the hood, there is also a depression in the underside of the gas tank, and a small chip in the fender next to engine hood. The front seats have been recovered in tan vinyl, and the back seats are in good shape in their original tan color. The car originally had a brown dash and trim but was replaced with a black after market. All glass is good with no cracks. Cruise control is in op. A/C blows cold and just had blower box fan replaced and upgraded to Hurricane replacement. Tires are very good. I have Porsche Cert of Auth and fully documented repair records. Includes manuals, toolkit, car cover, sunshade, and air comp. Mechanically sound car that's ready to drive. Buyer is responsible for shipping but I'm happy to help with logistics. Full payment due within 7 days of auction.
