1984 Porsche 911 CARRERA Additional Info:

This 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was first registered in Oklahoma, and it later spent time in Hawaii before its 2012 acquisition by the seller. It was subsequently modified with a lightened flywheel, an aftermarket clutch, an OS Giken limited-slip differential, WEVO engine and transmission mounts, an SWChips 66mm throttle body and engine control unit (ECU) tune, and an aftermarket exhaust system and headers. The car was repainted in Guards Red in 2019, and it is further equipped with a five-speed 915 manual transaxle, a steel sunroof plug, Flat6 Illumination projector-style headlights, a whale-tail spoiler, fiberglass bumpers, Bilstein dampers, aftermarket torsion bars and anti-roll bars, refinished 16″ Fuchs wheels, microsuede interior trim, black and gray cloth-upholstered Recaro seats, Rennline pedals, and power windows. This Carrera coupe is offered in California with factory literature, a car cover, service records dating from 2006, dynamometer reports, spare parts, a Carfax report, and a clean Alaska title in the seller’s name. The car has been modified with a whale-tail spoiler, fiberglass bumpers with lightweight mounts, and a steel plug in place of the sunroof, and the factory mirrors were removed before their mounting holes were patched with welds. The glass was removed before a repaint in Guards Red in 2019. Additional exterior details include Flat6 Illumination projector-style headlights, a heckblende with Porsche lettering, and black-finished rally-style mirrors.Staggered-width Fuchs 16″ wheels were refinished before being mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires. The lowered suspension utilizes Bilstein dampers, RSR polyurethane bushings, and Tarett Engineering anti-roll bars in addition to a 21mm and 29mm torsion bar setup, and welded reinforcements for installing a coilover suspension have been added. The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six has been modified with a lightweight high-torque starter motor, an SWChips 66mm throttle body and engine control unit (ECU) tune, an aftermarket exhaust system and headers, and WEVO engine mounts. The alternator and fan have been replaced under current ownership. A smaller-size Odyssey battery is affixed via a Rennline mount, and the battery was replaced in January 2025. The seller notes that service in preparation for the sale involved repairing the oil sending unit wiring and performing a synthetic oil change with a K&N filter as well as replacing an oil line, the oil sending unit, speed sensor, and fan belt. Dynamometer results from mid-2020 can be viewed in the gallery. Car was listed on BAT, here is that link https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1984-porsche-911-carrera-coupe-74/
