Vehicle Original VIN : WP0AB2962PS419340This 1993 Porsche 964 RS America is one of just 701 made over a 2 year period in 1993-94. The lightweight RSA was only available with 4 options; Radio, A/C, Sunroof and LSD. This car has 3 of the 4 and is a very desirable factory slick top car. Like many RSAs, this car was raced frequently and was the Patron sponsored Porsche series entry for many years. Early in its life, this RSA had an off track excursion with its first owner at Road Atlanta that resulted front and rear suspension damage. We have photos of the incident as well as before and after. Since the retiring from racing, this hot rod has a comprehensive respray in its original Grand Prix White as well as extensive recomissioning to the interior including leather RS Touring seats, new RS door panels and carpet and dash pad. Other merits include; LN Engineering rebuilt motor -approx. 1500 miles ago Bilstein PS9s 993 Turbo brakes Full Fabspeed exhaust with heater boxes In 2023 the car received an additional $15k of work completed by Frank Beck @ Becks European; Valve adjustment Clutch checked/adjusted Reseal Valve covers Install new Bilstein front springs Remove/ rebuild and powder coat brake calipers 10 hours of dry ice cleaning Four corner balance Four-wheel alignment Four New Michelin Pilot sports Install new front splitter/tray Fluids This RSA represents a unique opportunity to own a very limited production air-cooled 964 that is modified and rebuilt by some of the best vendors in the air-cooled community. It is a fun, well set up car that can be enjoyed and further modified without the guilt that comes with perfect collector grade similar examples.
