1982 Porsche 911 Additional Info:

Autodynamica is pleased to offer this 1982 backdate Porsche 911 Martini Tribute.
This car was a project carried out at our shop for one of our Bespoke Porsche clients.
Built as a tribute to the iconic 1973 Porsche 911 RSR (R6) Targa Florio winning car, made famous by Herbert Müller and Gils van Lennep when they took the podium after a long battle in the 45-mile Circuito Piccolo delle Madonie, the last such race as the FIA decided to cancel it after the 1973 season, ensuring the R6 and its drivers would be forever remembered as the Targa Florio’s eternal winners.
The donor vehicle is a 1982 911, fully restored over two years while adding numerous improvements to improve handling, braking, and acceleration, including further mods to provide comfort & exclusivity.
To save weight, the Wide Body incorporates as many lightweight glass-fiber-reinforced-resin composite parts flawlessly finished in water-based two-stage PPG paint, it presents a deep gloss and exudes the muscular sportiness that has made racing Porsches famous for decades, while the vinyl graphics allude to its race-winning forebears.
In keeping with the RSR tribute theme, the body mods incorporate 1973 period-correct “tucked” bumpers, headlights, taillights, and parking light assemblies with integral air intake grilles.
Originally a 3.0-liter car, a newer 3.2-liter powerplant was substituted which, at the time it was produced, was the most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever fitted to a production 911.
This Euro-spec example has been kept in stock to ensure drivability, it has been fitted with a complete high-performance exhaust system, including headers and GT3-style center outlet tips coated with high-temperature Cerakote.
An Elephant Racing single-fender Oil Cooler kit was installed to keep the engine properly cooled even during spirited track action, the electrical system was rebuilt using Kroon wiring harnesses.
The Brembo brake system features 4-piston, monoblock front and 2-piece rear calipers, with one-piece 323 x 28 mm front and 309 x 28 mm rear cross-drilled rotors, steel braided brake lines, and performance street brake pads.
The staggered two-piece aluminum Fuchs replica (RSR) finish wheels are 17” x 11” wide in the rear, fitted with 275/40ZR17 Michelin Pilot Sport tires, while the matching 17” x 9” front wheels carry 225/45ZR17 tires.
A Track/Street Elephant Racing Coilover Advanced Technology Package has been installed, which comprises, in the front, a Strut Brace, Camber Plates with Monoball, GT3 Front Suspension System, Turbo Tie Rods, QuickChange Swaybar, Front Von Shocks Coilovers, Swaybar Backer Plate, and a Thru-Body Front Swaybar Reinforcement Kit.
The rear incorporates a Spring Plate Reinforcement and shock Tower Kit, Retro RSR Adjustable Swaybar, Von Shocks Coilovers, ASP Adjustable Spring Plate, Spring Plate PolyBronze Bearings, Trailing Arm Monoball Cartridges, and Swaybar Mount Kit.
The fully restored interior features bucket seats upholstered in hand-buffed Can Can red leather, black vinyl door cards, and matching German wool carpeting, found also in the front luggage compartment.
The driver is greeted by an aluminum Momo Prototipo 350 mm steering wheel with a black leather grip, brushed aluminum spokes, and white stitching, Rennline perforated pedals and floorboards, and a Windrush Evolutions WEVO precision short shift / spring-centered / reverse blocked shift mechanism.
A Porsche Classic head unit with a 3.5-inch display, modern functions such as Apple CarPlay, onboard navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, SD card, USB, AUX, Bluetooth audio, and hands-free, LL Audio amplifier, and two-way door speakers.
