1975 Porsche 911 Additional Info:
1975 Porsche 911 Targa, 2.7 Liter 175HP flat six,Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection,five speed manual transmission.
This car’s engine, transmission, suspension and brakes were completely rebuilt by Porsche specialist Jim Sutherland of JTS Motorsports. Included with sale will be a 60 page summary of the nearly 40K meticulous restoration with detailed pictures of each stage of the work performed. There is zero rust on this car.
Work included fly-cutting and machining the cylinder heads, resealing the camshaft housings, a valve job, and a rebuild of the fuel distributor. A PerTronix ignition system, later Carrera-spec tensioners, and a pop-off valve were installed, and the oil tank was cleaned and powder coated. The engine was also fitted with a replacement fuel pump, wiring harness, battery, fuel injectors, exhaust valve guides, valve seats, valve spring keepers, stem seals, piston rings, aluminum valve covers, seals, and engine mounts.
Less than 1,500 miles have been added since the work was done in 2020. Current indicated mileage on the 5 digit odometer is 3,410. This car is a joy to drive and truly runs like new.
The car is finished in Gazelle Metallic with dealer installed tan and black leather Sports Seats. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks, PerTronix ignition, aluminum valve covers, a black removable roof panel, a black Targa bar, fog lights, body-color bumpers, a front spoiler, a Pioneer CD stereo, Coco Mats, and a heated rear window.
