This Speedster is a very accurately done and high quality built replica of a 1957 T1 356A Speedster 1600 Super. It was built by Vintage Speedsters at their Hawaiian Gardens, California facility and finished in July of 2007. Vintage Speedsters is the premier replica maker of the Porsche Speedster and with their precision craftsmanship and extreme attention to detail their depth of replicating a real Speedster is astounding. This example was built with the 1,600cc engine and although a higher performance 1,915cc engine is an available upgrade, the original owner wished to stay true to the original Speedster and opted for the 1,600cc engine. It is also equipped with the following options: front disc brakes, stereo system, trunk carpet, 4-speed transmission with 3:88 gear, bumper guards, rare beehive taillights, and rear luggage rack with real leather belt straps. It is finished in Ivory over a beautiful Saddle interior complete with a saddle top and side windows, along with a saddle tonneau cover. Top easily stores flat below a saddle boot, and the windows and tonneau cover tuck nicely into the trunk.
