My Dad bought this car from a neighbor 20 yrs ago and has only had 10,000 miles in the last 20 years. Took it out this sunny weekend, runs and drives great! No smoke and no oil leaks(!) but a recommended full service, tires replacing be done to the car. Clutch and synchro's are fine but the starter has developed a flat spot so every once in a while it does not crank. The Turbo 944's really change the personality of the car. From basically a Dog to a quasi super car back in the day. They would top out at 157mph In the early nineties we took a 944 turbo to a Ferrari meet at Watkins Glenn. This kept up with cars that were worth 5x more. Timing belt was done only 2k miles ago but it's 10 years old. Basically a rust free car, galvanized steel was used on these vehicles so no rust like the seventies Porsche's. My Dad is 87 years old and finally realized he's not going to be able to take anything with him on his next life so hence the sale of a few of his cars. Please ask questions before auction end.
