Here's your early holiday present

1977 Porsche 924 Additional Info:

Here is a pretty rare 1977 Porsche 924 originally painted in Signal Green. I have looked online and the only other early 924 I have found in this color is in the Porsche museum in Stuttgart. A previous owner sadly painted over it in dark green, but the photos will show sufficient evidence of the awesome original color.I purchased this car in June of 2022 from Detroit, where it sat in a garage since 2001. It does not currently run and will need a restoration.
I cleaned up the car and bought new front and rear brakes, but the brake job needs completion (it needs to be chocked currently). It features an AM/FM radio with a hidden 8 track player. Based on the interior condition of the car, I believe it truly has only 39,189 miles. It had very old Pirelli tires on it when I first got it and the date code indicated they were either from 1976 or 1986 (I can send you pictures of them if you're curious, and the spare in the trunk has that date code as well).
It includes what I believe is the original toolkit, a functional retractable luggage cover in the rear that still works well, as well as the safety cover for the removable sunroof so you can stow it in the back on a sunny day.
As for the nose, there is a moderate sized dent in the front nose panel, as well as a deep ding on the leading edge of the hood as seen in the pictures. The second to last picture will give you an idea of how it will look in the original color. The last picture is of a damaged yellow fiberglass front valance (the lower valance, NOT the euro bumper) that I will toss in if you want.You can pick it up in Kennesaw, GA 30152 or I will be happy to help your auto shipper load it for transport.
