https://youtu.be/bHZm3SeS9E8 For sale is a BARN FIND 1965 Porsche 356SC that has been stored away since 1998. This car has had a total of two owners in the past. The previous owner had it since the late 1980s. He parked it in a hanger in Fresno, CA and it sat for the last 25 years. It is a CA car since new. I do not believe the motor is matching, although the engine number is KD*P*717917, the KD means this was a replacement engine from the dealer at some point when the car was a few years old. The transmission is believed to be original. I do not have a COA to tell you for certain. The body on this vehicle is in very good shape. Zero signs of accidents, or rust repairs in the past. No nose damage. This is a solid CA car. The floors appear to be original and there is no real rust under there. Watch the video and see for yourself. The paint is at least 30 years old. Same with the interior. The interior has held up very well though! Mechanically it runs and drives pretty well. It did not take very much work to get this thing on the road. Motor sounds healthy and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Like always there is TLC needed. Suspension and clutch feel good. 4 wheel disc brakes as its an SC! Makes a huge difference while driving it. It has one issue with the ignition switch, watch the video to see. Here is a car with all potential to be restored or driven the way it is with little work.
