1991 Porsche 911 Additional Info:
1991 Porsche 911 C2 Cabriolet. In the Porsche world known as the model designation 964.This has a five speed and everything works including AC (R32 recently converted) and electrical top. Most people who know these cars, know they leak but this one is as 'leak-free' for an air-cooled 911 and no drips. Also, you will note that these do sometimes rust behind the headlights so I have removed the headlights to show its remarkable condition. Clean Carfax and is absolutely stunning in person.
The only modification is LED Headlights for safety and aesthetics as it emulates the Singer look from the front. Easy to swap in few minutes with one screw per side. Original lights included in sale. Has updated radio that has CD player and plug to connect iPhone to play on newer era sound speakers.
This car was ordered with factory option to include rivets at the doors and dash to install convertible tonneau cover that is more common in 356s than 911s. Once installed this 964 would stand out in any car event. The tonneau is in great shape, not sun-bleached which is rare as I cannot find any in the US market on eBay or other sites.
These 964s are only the continuing to rise as collectors (including Singer) seek the last true 911 body (with upright lights) with untouched examples like this one becoming more and more rare. With only 57,900 original miles and only owned by Porsche club of America members. And has three ring binder with service records from 2006.
Wind deflector comes with sale. Worth over $1000. Original Porsche part. Orinal tonneau also worth over $1000 though and longer for sale from Porsche - but it's useless if your car does not have the factory rivets like this example for sale.
See Cabriolet top retract on this video. The reverse to open works the same. Also note for best practice, I unzip the plastic window to keep it scratch-free.. and yes, it's pretty clear with no haze.
