1983 Porsche 928 S Additional Info:

The car passed California SMOG test (emission test) on 12-28-2015. It ran great until there was coolant slowly dripping from timing belt cover. It did not get overheated since I owned it. Then I had a mechanic replaced the water pump and timing belt. After he replaced the water pump and timing belt and started the engine, adiator leaks coolant. So the radiator needs to be replaced before driving. The leaking spot from the radiator is between the plastic and aluminum near the coolant input, s you see in the picture.

4-Speed automatic transmission shifts smooth. The engine has plenty of power. It has new timing belt and water pump. It is currently registered in California DMV and registration fees paid until December 2016.

Below are the minor problems it has:

I found the passenger side rear axle boot is cracked. I put my finger inside the boot and there were plenty of grease oil. And I filled up with grease oil until it’s full in the boot and wrapped with a rubber sheet. This is to protect the CV joint away from dust. You can see it in the picture.

The horn does not work, ut when I press the born button on the steering wheel, can hear there is a click sound, o I assume the horn button circuit works.

Washer fluid light is on, ut windshield wiper washer works.

Odometer stopped at 129020 since I bought this car, do not know actual mileage.

Driver side power seat and all buttons works good, ut passenger power seat does not work.

Heater works, ut A/C is not cold.

Cruise control does not work.

Power sunroof stay closed and does not work, ut no leak.

There is a small water leak from the top edge of the windshield when raining hard.

The car can run few minutes because of leaking coolant. You can test drive few blocks near my home and test the good power. But the cooling problem needs to be fixed before driving.

Clear coat on the roof come off. Other paint is in good condition. As you see in the pictures, ody is in good shape, o obvious dent, ome small scratches exist, ut it’s not obvious unless you examine very close.

The interior is clean and good. Both seats’ lather has torn and covered with seat cover. Floor bottom carpet was replaced.

The vehicle is sold as is, ince it leaks coolant, t is not operational until it is repaired or for parts only. There is no warranty, o refund after purchase. Buyer can bring experienced mechanic to inspect the vehicle before bidding.
