1975 Porsche 911 Carrera Additional Info:
This 1975 Porsche 911 Targa is one of only 174 Carrera Targas produced for the United States in 1975. It was sold new at W.H. Motors of Trenton, New Jersey and was acquired by the selling dealer as a partially-assembled project in 2014. It was brought to completion over the next three and half years, and work included a repaint, refinished Fuchs wheels, and new interior upholstery. Power is provided by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and the car is equipped with sport seats, a removable targa top, air conditioning, front and rear spoilers, and rectangular fog lights. This 911 Targa is now offered with a Porsche Production Specifications certificate, an owner’s manual, a stamped maintenance booklet, and a clean Florida title.
Finished from the factory in Porsche Silver Metallic (Z2), the car was partially disassembled by its previous owner and was repainted by the seller. Carrera script graphics have been applied to the lower panels, and the car is equipped with front and rear spoilers, front fog lights, and a removable Targa top.
The interior has been refreshed with new Russet Leather seat covers and door panels, along with a replacement dashboard and carpet kit. Amenities include sport seats, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo with a separate graphic equalizer, and air conditioning.
A three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel sits in front of VDO instrumentation, including a 150-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows just over 82k miles, approximately 1,500 of which have been added by the seller.
The 2.7-liter flat-six was factory-rated at 175 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque and sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was last serviced in December 2019 per the seller.
Vehicle was appraised on June 2019 and it qualifies for up to 10 years financing. I will consider trades including Bikes and Boats 23' or less.
