1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa M491 Additional Info:
1985 Porsche 911 Targa M491. Rare Factory Authentic Turbo Look Wide Body Car! Only 65 M491 Targa Models Produced in 1985. Vin WP0EB0913FS160513. 139,612 Miles. 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Meteor Metallic. Burgundy Leather Interior. Car Manual, Restoration Service Receipts, 1 Key, Air-Compressor, Jack and a Spare. This robust Meteor Metallic 911 is an ultra special car! Only 102 Factory Turbo Look Targas were produced world wide from 1984 - 1989! In comparison, 688 Coupes and 290 Cabriolets were produced worldwide with the factory Turbo Look option. Option M491 was a Turbo Look package that consisted of front and rear fenders, rear fender flares, and front and rear spoilers identical to the Turbo. Also included in the Turbo Look were the front hubs, rear torsion bar tube, suspension arms, and brake system of the Turbo. Wheels measured 7x16 at the front and 8x16 at the rear. This particular Porsche has just undergone a 2 year restoration, which mainly consisted of the complete exterior and interior overhaul in the cost of $50,000! The condition of the Slate Grey Metallic exterior and of the Burgundy Leather Interior is 10 out of 10! The entire underside, including the wheel wells, have also been refurbished. This car simply looks brand new! The car is powered by its original 3.2 liter flat six engine, which produces 228 horsepower and 209 ft lbs of torque. The power is all there and the car’s performance is spot on! During the restoration, the car also received plenty of mechanical repairs which are highlighted by a New clutch, R&R engine, R&R gear box, Turbo tie rods, Rear Bilstein shocks, Cross over pipe exhaust, New AC compressor, and much more. The current owner from Boca Raton purchased this vehicle in 2015 from a gent in Delaware, who had the car for only a short spell. The car was in need of a restoration, which the owner from Delaware never got to. Before the car traveled to DE, it resided in Raleigh, NC, where it was barely ever driven. Because of this car's rareness and notoriety, it will really stand out at Porsche Club events, Cars and Coffee and in general, everywhere! The upside investment potential is incredible, making it a car you can drive and enjoy! Collector car financing available at competitive rates.
